Copperfill by Colorfabb is a 3D PLA print string with a high proportion of copper particles (up to 80%). This printing composite string made of metal and plastic allows you to print objects that, after grinding and rest, get the faithful appearance of the product from the copper.

Specifications:

Filament diameter: 1.75 mm with tolerance ± 0.05 mm,
15 meters length.
Recommended print temperature: 190-220 ° C
Recommended print speed: 40-80 mm /s



/Span> Recommended plate temperature: 50-60 ° C (heating is not necessary, without heating we recommend supporting adhesion with 3-pressure or other adhesives)

After printing, polish the surface first with coarser sanding papers and continue to the finest. For a hearty gloss you can also use polishing paste for metal or grinding brushes.

Thanks to the large proportion of metal, the surface of the model after printing from Copperfill is almost matt as a laser sintered surface. However, the copper particles will shine and glitter during grinding and polishing, which gives the prints a very unusual appearance.

Suitable for decorative purposes where you will appreciate the metal glossy appearance (statuettes, jewelry, etc.)

Print notification:

Due to the high steel content of Copperfill, this fiber is too abrasive for printing with a brass nozzle. Therefore, we recommend printing with hardened nozzles preferably with a diameter of 0.5 mm and higher.
