Varioshore TPU allows users to change the material density by adjusting the temperature and the permeability of the material (speed and height of the layer). At temperatures between 200 - 250 ° C, the materials begin to expand to approximately 1.4 to 1.6 times the original volume. This means that the material can be printed at low material flow (60-70%) to compensate for active foaming, which in return gives very soft printed parts. Between 190-200 ° C, the material can be printed without foaming, resulting in a different touch surface and harder prints compared to foam samples.

You can achieve different color variations. Color will be lighter when the material is in maximum foamed state, unlike a non -dotted state that shows a more saturated and richer color.

If maximum foaming is required, use the least cooling. Use 50-100% cooling for better overhang.

Make sure that the distance between the nozzle and the platform is not small, especially if the material is fed during printing, the pressure from the hot end will need to be released to prevent the nozzle from clogging.
